Federal, State, and Local Experience
CompuWorks works closely with many state and
federal government agencies. As a wholly woman-owned enterprise,
CompuWorks is a certified minority business, a feature appreciated
by many of our government clients. Currently CompuWorks is
on three Massachusetts state contracts: ITS07 - Information
Technology Services, ST7J502 - Training and Organizational
Development, and ST3J501 - e-Learning Services.
Founded in 1987 by Margaret Grimes, CompuWorks is a woman-owned business and
as such is a SOWMBA certified vendor within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

ITS07: CompuWorks is a training vendor under Section 5 – Solution Provider of the Information Technology Services contract. CompuWorks may be contacted to provide services in one or more categories including, but not limited to, applications development, desktop asset management, electronic commerce, help desk services, security services, and imaging/document management services. In addition, CompuWorks can be contracted to provide technical support, systems maintenance, configuration management as well as education/training in support of the solutions or personnel that are provided under the scope of this contract.
ST7J502: The goal of this Statewide Contract ST7J502, Training and Organizational Development is to provide the best value of Commodities and Services to achieve the procurement goals of the Department or Agency. CompuWorks has been a vendor for the last several years on this contract and offers computer training, courseware development, database development, Train-The-Trainer, help desk support, registration services, desk-side support and certified training:
| ST3J501: Effective November 1, 2003, CompuWorks is a member of the statewide contract for the provision of e-Learning Services. In addition to our staple offerings of instructor-led training, help desk support, technical writing, courseware sales, database development and application development provided under ITS07 and ST7J502, CompuWorks, in association with our e-Learning technology and education partners, provides the following e-Learning services |
- e-Learning content sales - technical, soft skills, business skills and more.
- Learning Management Systems - ASP solutions and self-hosted, intranet solutions.
- Custom e-Learning development utilizing a wide variety of authoring tools including, but not limited to, Authorware, Dreamweaver/Coursebuilder, Lectora, Robodemo, Skill Builder, Viewlet Builder and more.
- Training in best practices for custom e-Learning development and training in the use of specific authoring tools.
- Instructional design and co-development of custom e-Learning.
- Consulting on integrating e-Learning into current learning solutions.
